Here are some things I use to make my life in the kitchen, at the table, and in front of the computer a lot easier. So you know, these are affiliate links, which means that, if you click on the link then buy something, I’ll make a little bit of money.
Blogging Resources
I use BlueHost to host this site. I’ve actually used BlueHost for years, ever since I used to manage our condo association waaaay back when. So, when I wanted to move my blog, it was an easy choice for me. The service is reliable and reasonably priced. Oh, and it has so many extras, you can easily install WordPress in one click, among other things. If you’re ready to get your blog on your own domain, this is the way to go.
Kitchen Tools
EatSmart Precision Pro – Multifunction Digital Kitchen Scale – I love this scale. Originally I got it for bread baking, but I use it a lot more than I thought I would. In addition to weighing flour and water for my sourdough mix, I frequently weigh grated cheese, portions for my, ahem, diet, and even pieces of mail. It’s simple to use and reasonably priced. — Heather
Cookware
I have a set of KitchenAid pans that are great. The non-stick coating is excellent, and they’re oven safe to 400 degrees, so I can start a meal on the stove and finish it off in the oven using the same pan. — Heather
A couple years ago I bought some silicone muffin tins and good grief do I love them! I haven’t thrown my old ones away (most were my grandmother’s and are too old and pretty), but they don’t get used unless I’m making cupcakes and using liners. If you don’t already have some, fix that! — Carole
